Vallivue Video is born!!

The first semester of the new Vallivue Video program was a success!!! When I started planning for this new Career Technical Education program, I had a 3 year plan to have advanced students working on projects for our school and short films. After 1 semester, we are already at this point and it's because of the students! I have 1 student that chose to work over the summer on our Intro to Video course. This student has been spear heading projects for Vallivue High and building quite the portfolio. Expect to see great things posted here as he gets his online portfolio up and running. The site is live!!!

So the time has come, a student finally asked why the Web Design teacher doesn't have their own website. I had originally started on a site at the beginning of the year and it got lost in the mix of things. Combine coaching and the meetings tied into being a first year teacher, the web site was in the back of my mind. Now were are here!!! There is no more waiting around, the site is finished and ready to showcase the work of the students. I hope you enjoy looking at their work and reading about their progress in the different courses offered. Derek Self
